Last night she called me and said she was leaving.
jīn今tiān天zǎo早shàng上wǒ我qù去huǒ火chē车zhàn站sòng送tā她。
This morning I went to the train station to see her off.
huǒ火chē车zhàn站lǐ里rén人fēi非cháng常duō多。
The station was packed with people.
wǒ我dào到de的shí时hou候，tā她yǐ已jīng经zài在mén门páng旁biān边děng等wǒ我le了。
When I arrived she was already waiting for me by the gate.
wǒ我sòng送tā她yī一běn本hàn汉yǔ语shū书。
I gave her a Chinese book.
wǒ我shuō说：nǐ你zài在běi北jīng京yào要duō多xué学xí习。
I said: make sure you study a lot in Beijing.
tā她xiào笑le了yī一xià下，shuō说：xiè谢xie谢nǐ你。
She smiled and said: thank you.
wǒ我men们zuò坐zài在yǐ椅zi子shàng上shuō说huà话。
We sat on a chair and talked.
tā她gào告sù诉wǒ我，tā她yǒu有yì一diǎn点ér儿bù不gāo高xìng兴，yīn因wèi为tā她bù不xiǎng想zǒu走。
She told me she was a little sad, because she didn't want to leave.
dàn但shì是tā她de的xīn新xué学xiào校fēi非cháng常hǎo好，tā她yě也xiǎng想qù去。
But her new school is excellent, and she wants to go too.
tā她de的piào票shì是jiǔ九diǎn点de的。
Her ticket was for nine o'clock.
bā八diǎn点wǔ五shí十，tā她yào要jìn进qù去le了。
At ten to nine she had to go in.
wǒ我shuō说：dào到le了běi北jīng京gěi给wǒ我dǎ打diàn电huà话。
I said: call me when you get to Beijing.
tā她shuō说：hǎo好，wǒ我xī希wàng望nǐ你yě也lái来běi北jīng京wán玩。
She said: I will — and I hope you come to Beijing too.
tā她zǒu走de的shí时hou候xiào笑le了yī一xià下，wǒ我yě也xiào笑le了。
She smiled as she walked away, and so did I.
huí回jiā家de的lù路shàng上，wǒ我jué觉de得yǒu有yì一diǎn点ér儿lèi累，dàn但shì是fēi非cháng常gāo高xìng兴。
On the way home I felt a little tired, but very happy.
suī虽rán然wǒ我bù不xǐ喜huan欢sòng送péng朋you友zǒu走，dàn但shì是wǒ我xī希wàng望tā她xué学xí习hǎo好。
I don't like seeing friends off, but I hope she does well in her studies.
xià下gè个yuè月wǒ我yào要gěi给tā她dǎ打diàn电huà话，wèn问tā她běi北jīng京zěn怎me么yàng样。
Next month I'll call her and ask how Beijing is.
